i tried for an hour to get this to post last night...but to no avail...better late than never!

exhibit a: thank you, Lord, for your church and for pastors that speak Your truth and bring us to our knees before you.
exhibit b: guess who cried more today, baby or toddler? you guessed it...the toddler almost always wins that game... lil miss is acting the part of a two-year old!

exhibit a: today i am thankful for this last year we have spent with lil miss. she has truly blossomed over the last twelve months and we have had so much fun getting to know her in and out. love you, baby girl!

exhibit a: today, dear Lord, i am thankful for the gifts of the babies we are blessed to hold each day. thank you for providing us with them. for allowing us to love them, guide them, teach them and point them to you for the short span of life we will live together on earth.
exhibit b: a kind festive frills customer requested i make a cupcake for her...never tried that one before, and i probably won't again. mainly because mountain man came home and saw it and said it looked like a coke can with stuff growing out of it. and also because it took way too much time and experimentation and you can't tell that by looking at it! anyways, this occupied my day today!

check out the drool bubbles sweet pea is sporting now days... the saliva is flowing, folks! she never spits up so we haven't had any use for bibs or burp cloths, but i think they will become necessary in the coming weeks if she follows after her sister at this stage.

exhibit a: today i am thankful for the fourth winter storm we have had this winter...all this snow is starting to get old to us southerners, but today, i am thankful, Lord, that we saw pretty white flakes instead of dreary raindrops!
exhibit b: miss maddie came to dine and play! boy oh boy, did the girls enjoy one another!
exhibit c: no shot of lil miss tonight with her sissy, but this one is just as good of grammy and sweet pea!

exhibit a: today, Lord, i am thankful for running partners. all my life i have been praying for people to run alongside me in the wee hours of the morning and since moving into our home and meeting our neighbors, You have provided just that! not only do i have running partners, i have christian running partners! thank you for allowing me to run into tracy one morning shortly after lil miss was born and thank you that she decided to give long distance running a try and that she stuck with it and now is an awesome runner! thank you for those who have joined us and who make getting out of bed a welcome treat! (i don't have a picture of them)
exhibit b: today little monkey and his mommy came over the make vegan treats for lil miss' impending birthday! it was chaos but fun and we managed to bake a tasty batch even though three kids under two reeked havoc on us and our plans! monkey, i am glad that you aren't having a baby sister because you'd end up looking like this (lil miss dressed you up) every day!
